CASE CONSUMER BRAND — CONCEPT PROJECT
KORA
Heritage geometry, contemporary energy.
Overview
KORA is a concept identity for a premium consumer brand drawing on West African geometric heritage. Arches, radiating suns and a warm earth palette give the brand a sense of place without pastiche.
A concept consumer brand built on arches, suns and earth tones — a visual language that feels rooted, warm and unmistakably modern.
01 — The Challenge
Cultural roots can easily become costume. The challenge was to build from geometry and material honesty rather than cliché — a brand that feels specific but travels well internationally.
02 — The Objective
Design an identity system flexible enough for packaging, social content and retail environments, with a motion language that carries the same warmth into digital spaces.
03 — Strategy
We built the system from three geometric primitives — the arch, the disc and the horizon line — each carrying meaning: shelter, sun, ground. Every application composes from these three marks.
04 — Creative Direction
Sun-warmed minimalism. Deep green grounds the palette, gold brings light, and generous negative space keeps the system premium rather than busy.
05 VISUAL LANGUAGE
Moodboard & System
Letterforms echo the arch motif — rounded terminals, stable proportions.
06 — Motion Exploration
Motion in the Kora system rises like the sun: elements lift and settle with a soft, organic ease. The logo animation draws the arch and places the sun — shelter first, then light.

08 — Outcome
As a concept case study, KORA demonstrates PixelPort’s approach to culturally grounded branding: systems built from meaning, not ornament — designed to scale from a label to a launch campaign.
