CASE SAAS — CONCEPT PROJECT
ORBIT
A product story told in three dimensions.
Overview
ORBIT explores how 3D visualization can make abstract software tangible. The system centers on a family of geometric objects — cores, orbits and satellites — that represent the platform’s moving parts across onboarding, marketing and product surfaces.
A concept 3D visualization language for a SaaS platform — turning an invisible piece of software into an object you can almost hold.
01 — The Challenge
Software has no shape. The challenge was to invent a visual world that explains a platform’s architecture intuitively, without falling into generic “cloud and nodes” clichés.
02 — The Objective
Build a flexible 3D kit that scales from a favicon-sized glyph to a full launch animation, stays recognizable in motion and in stillness, and renders efficiently for web use.
03 — Strategy
One metaphor, executed with discipline: everything in the platform orbits a core. Modules become satellites, integrations become orbital paths, data becomes light. The metaphor maps cleanly to product truth.
04 — Creative Direction
Black chrome, glass and a single teal-green light source. Materials stay cold and precise; the light does the storytelling.
05 VISUAL LANGUAGE
Moodboard & System
Typography stays quiet so the 3D system carries the personality; labels use a mono voice for a technical, engineered feel.
06 — Motion Exploration
Objects ease along their orbits rather than spinning endlessly — motion marks relationships, not decoration. Camera moves are slow and heavy, like hardware product films.

08 — Outcome
As a studio concept, ORBIT shows how a consistent 3D metaphor can carry an entire product narrative — from hero animation to in-app iconography — with one coherent visual idea.
